Puppetry Workshops
Learn how to manipulate different types of puppet in this fun workshop led by one of our brilliant workshop leaders and professional puppeteer!
Students will plays lots of games and exercises to get them ready to start. Workshops are tailored to suit each age group.
They’ll learn how to use both marionette and hand-held puppets throughout the session, creating lots of short puppet sketches themselves that they will be able to show.
Working together they will learn how to move puppets that require more than one puppeteer and will even learn how to puppeteer everyday objects to create a unique and interesting performance piece.
Puppetry is great for increasing focus and teamwork as well as the imagination of the students.
We can promise a fun- filled session, full of laughs and plenty of teamwork!

Length: Available as half day (3hours) or full day. Please note, we are happy to amend workshop lengths to suit your needs. We would also be able to accommodate changing the group over during your session.

Puppet Making Workshop
Join us for one of our puppet making workshops! Older students can learn how to design and build their very own characters and make them move. For younger students we can have plenty of fun designing their very own sock or newspaper puppets. There might even be a chance at the end for them to introduce their characters to the rest of the class!
We can promise lots of highly creative (and probably quite messy) fun! There will be glitter, sequins, glue, googly eyes, paint and plenty of laughs! We can also offer puppet building workshops using recyclable and found materials.
